Get access to the business skills

that help you grow.

We are launching a new initiative that is designed to increase your working knowledge of various business skills and topics.

The Digital Learning Academy (DLA) is our free, online library filled with courses, downloadable materials and information created by everyday entrepreneurs who are well-versed and well-qualified in their business area. Each month, we will upload new online courses (videos and presentations) that you can view from your computer or mobile device.

Our contributors participate in extensive learning and course planning sessions in order to develop content that is relevant and engaging for our users.  Topics within the academy include basics of entrepreneurship, social media, graphic design, finance & accounting, content development, sales & marketing and human resources. We will continue to add more topics as we expand our academy.

Benefits Of using the Digital Learning Academy:

  • Once you join, you can access all of the content and materials free of charge. Click here to gain access.

  • New content is added monthly

  • You can pause, skip or replay your courses anytime you want

  • You can connect with the course's instructors if you need additional assistance or guidance

  • You can use the DLA in addition to the free technical support that the EWEC offers

  • Pair your learning with the CSBDF Learn Online library of business content

  • Some of our online instructors also teach their courses in-person (you can access both!)

Opportunities for DLA Contributors

We would like to work with entrepreneurs who are able to extensively instruct the topics that we feature in the DLA. As a contributor, you will be able to reach a wide audience of start-up and existing entrepreneurs across several industries, who would like to access your content to enhance their skill set. In addition to the opportunity to contribute online content, we are also looking for entrepreneurs who would like to facilitate live workshops. Most workshops will be conducted in Elizabeth City. We may occasionally offer workshops outside of our immediate area.  To learn more details about this opportunity, download our DLA Consultant's Cheat Sheet by completing the form below. Also, if you are interested in hosting live (in-person) workshops, please send an email to cdavis@carolinasmallbusiness.org
